From the Oh My! Sugar High giveaway, I came across this blog / giveaway: http://www.babylovingmama.com/2011/01/wilton-valentines-day-cake-pops-review-giveaway.html. This one is for more products from Wilton !! I really love their stuff!! Their newest fad is Pops! They are bite size cakes or brownies on a stick. The Pops! possibilities are endless!! In BabyLovingMama's blog, she shows how she used the Wilton Chocolate Pro Melter. It not only melts the chocolate, but it also keeps it warm. You can read her review and look at her wonderful pictures of the Pops! that she made. She used these cute candy eyeballs for the eyes of her monsters. Have fun and see what kind of delicious combinations you can come up with!

Valentine's Day

So, Valentine's Day is just around the corner. What does that mean to you? For me, that means I will be celebrating my 4th wedding anniversary with my amazing husband! :) My plan was to make my husband some yummy cupcakes! I wanted to something a little different. I like to try new things and to learn new techniques. My favorite place to go for ideas?? Only the greatest company for baking supplies / ideas / recipes - Wilton! You can check out their website here - www.wilton.com. (I am also a fan of theirs on Facebook, where they post new ideas and new products.) I love checking out their ideas! I thought I had it all figured out... until I came across this this giveaway: http://ohmysugarhigh.com/wilton-valentines-day-giveaway/. I was looking for something that would be a little different. I would have never thought about heart shaped whoopie pies! How cool is that? Oh my! Sugar High's Romantic Chocolate Covered Cherry Whoopie Pies recipe looks so delicous! I would love to try it!! (That is if I win their giveaway! ;) Otherwise, it will have to wait awhile until I can get the stuff needed to make them.) Their giveaway offers: Two whoopie pie pans, white and chocolate decorating icing, chocolate heart sprinkles, push ‘n pop treat cutter, mini damask cupcake liners and red metallic treat boxes. This prize package has over a $45 value! Even if I do not win... that is okay... I still found a fabulous blog to follow! :)

Happy 8th Birthday, Kyle!

So, my oldest son just turned 8 at the beginning of January. These are the cupcakes that I made. They are yellow cupcakes with chocolate buttercream filling and frosting. Kyle decorated them with the sprinkles and sugar.

Welcome to my blog!

I have started this blog to share my love of baking! I am loving wife and mother to two amazing little boys! I love spending time with my family. I enjoy making things... baking, scrapbooking, card making, knitting, etc.
